CGG layaway
Lock today’s price with a 10% deposit*. No interest, no credit check, and up to 365 days to pay in amounts and at times that suit you. Finish within that time and you keep the price and any promotion you started with.
*For orders under $500, the deposit is at least $50.
Layaway locks the item price and any discount or promotion in your original agreement when you complete payment within 365 days.
You may request order changes before production begins. If you change your order, we price the changed order at our current prices, and any discount or promotion from your original agreement is checked again: it carries over only if it’s still active and applies to the changed order. The same applies if you owe a balance partway through an order, such as an upgrade difference or an added fee, and pay it over time: the price is locked from the date of that invoice, and if the order changes again before production, the changed order is priced at our current prices and any discount is checked again. After production starts, changes are not allowed.
Solid styles are estimated to ship 3-5 weeks after we receive your usable molds; iced styles and complex designs (opal, enamel or 3D work) 4-6 weeks. These are estimates, not guarantees. See the shipping policy for the details. These times start once 75% is paid and we have your usable molds.
Cancel any time by contacting us. You never owe more than you’ve already paid. What comes back depends on how far your order has gone, and on when you ask: within 60 days of purchase you can take a refund (the fees below apply) or store credit for everything you paid; after 60 days, it’s store credit for everything you paid. If your plan isn’t paid in full within 365 days, we treat day 365 as the day you asked to cancel.

Custom jewelry, before production starts: the same rules, except the refund fee is the $300 design fee once our designers have started on your design, or 20% of what you’ve paid for other made-to-order jewelry.
After production starts: we keep only our real costs for the work done so far (production and lab work, design work, stones, metal we can’t recover, and any kit and shipping already sent), send you a written breakdown and return the rest, as a refund within 60 days or store credit after. If our costs are more than you’ve paid, we cover the difference. If you’ve stopped paying but haven’t cancelled, you can pick the plan back up any time within the 365 days and get your piece at your locked price.
If we can’t make your item, or you cancel because of our mistake: a full refund of every payment, never store credit and no cancellation fee, sent within 7 days.
Good to know: within 60 days you can choose store credit instead of a refund, with no fee taken out. Refunds always include the sales tax you paid, and shipping for your finished piece whenever it doesn’t ship. Refunds go back to your original payment method when possible. Store credit is a gift card code that never expires; a new order paid with it is priced at that day’s prices.
